Overview

Before each pay period, employers place a voucher order for all employees on the scheme. Parents then receive their childcare vouchers electronically in the form of ‘e-vouchers’. E-vouchers work in a similar way to online banking:

• Parents are assigned a personal e-voucher account to make payments directly into their carers’ bank accounts.
• Parents can decide how much and when to pay each carer, and can easily monitor the payments they’ve made.
• Payment is fast, secure and hassle-free for carers.
