What are childcare vouchers?
Childcare vouchers are part of a government led initiative. They are offered by employers to their employees to pay for registered or approved childcare. Employees can take up to £55 per week in vouchers tax and NI free.

What is Childcare Choice?
Childcare Choice is an online childcare voucher scheme which is offered by Sodexho Pass to employers. Sodexho Pass provides the means of setting up and running the scheme in a cost effective and efficient fashion with support for employers, parents and carers.

Does it cost me anything to accept Childcare Choice vouchers?
No. Sodexho Pass ensures there is no cost to you in accepting vouchers. Payment is made at the parent’s instruction directly into your nominated bank account.

What do I have to do?
When joining up to accept vouchers, you have to complete one form and supply a copy of your registration or approval certificate. You are then sent confirmation of your affiliation number. Our service is as flexible and hassle-free as possible. There is no redemption required for e-vouchers - you are paid straight into your bank account on the parent’s instruction. The parent’s name will appear on the remittance advice so you can keep track of who has paid you. Alternatively you can agree a reference with the parent for payments via their e-voucher accounts to keep track of which child the payment relates to.
