Background

Childcare vouchers as an employee benefit were brought to the attention of Finance Manager Dimitrios Tzanakakis by a colleague whose wife’s employer already runs a childcare voucher scheme. Being able to offer savings to staff on their childcare costs was the determinant for Dimitrios to investigate what was available within the marketplace - a search which led him to the Childcare Choice website.

The decision

Dimitrios was impressed with the simplicity of the Childcare Choice scheme and how easy it was to implement - as well as its cost–effectiveness. Although he also has experience of another voucher provider through his wife’s employer, Dimitrios is happy to quote that “Childcare Choice is streets ahead of the competition in terms of the level of technology used to run its schemes”.
All staff have set up their accounts to pay carers at set times each month and are confident to allow the Childcare Choice system to do the rest on their behalf. Carers receive email or written notification of payments made into their accounts each month.
